I am thrilled to share with you Erin + Brian’s rustic chic Maine barn wedding, recently featured on Rustic Wedding Chic! Their first anniversary was just last week (same wedding date as me!), so it seems like the perfect time to feature them on the blog.Working with them on their rustic barn paper story was such a thrill. Not only was their design one of the most creative of the season, but they were also the sweetest couple! They knew they wanted to highlight the barn motif and use wood details, and they gave me the creative freedom to create something special for them. Basically, they were dream clients and it was a treat reliving all the details when putting together this post. Their story began with custom save the dates, and we went for that rustic vibe right off the bat with white ink on kraft stock, then paired it with a bold floral liner to add a feminine touch. For the invitations we took that texture to the next level with wood veneer wedding invitations. I chose a light wood to pair with brown ink then created a leaf border design that we carried through into their day-of paper, including programs, signage, and my favorite: the seating chart that lived on the coolest green lounge chair.
