New Website is Live!

On Business

Hi Friends! It’s been a little quiet here on the blog, as I’ve been getting through the summer with lots of family visits, a babysitter out of town, and all the back-to-school chaos that is September. And in the midst of all that, I launched the new rosevilledesigns.com!

Revamping my site wasn’t part of the plan for 2019, but as I’ve learned over the years you can only plan so much for the next 365 days. Things shift and you realize your focus should be on something entirely different to keep moving your business forward.

I hired a copywriter to put together text for me to clearly + cleverly explain the many nuances of my business. Not everyone understands all the services that come in working with me, and I wanted to make sure visitors got a sense for what Roseville is all about even before scheduling a consultation. A major thanks to Jessica Willingham for her tactful copywriting skills!

The next step was how to incorporate the copy into the business. I am working on a digital welcome packet to send to wedding planners + other vendors, but the first step was getting it on the site. Instead of trying to rework my existing site (which I hate to do, I’d much rather be designing!), I decided to put it in the hands of the talented Kali of June Mango. She was able to get it up + running lickety-split, and here we are!

The site is chock full of information about my services, my work (including a new separate section dedicated to watercolor invitations!), and the process of working with me, so please take a look around. I will be getting some new wedding posts up because I’ve got some gorgeous spring weddings to share that you’re not going to want to miss! For now, feel free to check out the Real Weddings page on the new site. And stay tuned for lots more pretty to come!
