RW: Kristen + Brett @ Longshore in Westport, CT

Uncategorized

Today it’s time to share Kristen + Brett’s classic green + grey wedding at The Inn at Longshore! I worked with them on their entire paper story, from save the dates to day-of paper. They had a simple + elegant look, with rustic Terrain-like touches. Thanks to Studio 1923 for all the great wedding pictures! (All other photos not from 1923 are noted below.) We set the tone for the wedding with a classic save the date in calendar format, printed on double thick white cotton stock. I also designed some bridal shower thank you cards with a similar look and feel. (Photo cred: Brooke Allison Photo) We letterpress-printed the invitation on white double thick cotton stock using the same look from the save the dates. We got a little playful with layout and the always-fun food icon choices on the RSVP card. (Photo cred: Roseville Designs) (Program photo cred: Roseville Designs) It’s always so helpful when guests have a go-to card with all the wedding weekend info. Theirs included all the weekend celebrations, plus shuttle schedule + contact info. We also created a simple 2-sided program for the ceremony. If you’re an avid wedding Pinterest pinner, you’ve probably seen the popular table number pin similar to this. I never like to copy another design (all my brides deserve something fresh + special!), so because the bride loved this look we made it our own in the design + use of wood dowels. Some were placed in empty glass bottles and others went directly into the gorgeous centerpieces. We loved carrying those food icons throughout the day-of paper, and formatted the menu cards around them. The final detail were the bride + groom chair signs. Such a simple detail, but they make a great impact + super photo-op! Congratulations, Kristen + Brett!

We loved telling your paper story from beginning to end (or really, to new beginning!).
